Hi, I'm Gwen and I joined BMAH in 2014 as a Veterinary Assistant.  I grew up in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, which is on the eastern part of the state.  I attended college in Massachusetts and came to Florida in 1988 where I started my career at Southeastern Guide Dogs.  I became a certified guide dog trainer/instructor and head of the breeding program and the medical program for the adult dogs in training.

In 2009 I shifted my career to work in the veterinary field and began working at a veterinary hospital in Manatee County.  After crossing the Skyway bridge for 5 years, today I am enjoying work at Bay Moorings Animal Hospital as the lead surgical veterinary technician.

I share my home in St. Petersburg with a Labrador and a cat that figured out how to use the doggie door and rules the roost!
